Hi Chichi, what bank do you use? We had almost the same problem when Dee, the first donor, tried to send money via wire transfer as well, but it was resolved when she provided the bank with the sort code. I think that should help. If it doesn’t work, let me know. I’ll send them a mail to ask if we can send it via Western Union and to whom the money should be addressed in Nigeria.

Hello Kola,
How are you sending money for the Jos relief? I wanted to wire transfer money to the Access bank account you detailed but I’m stumped, I usually send money to my folks at home using Money Gram and they don’t allow you to send money directly to a bank account number in Nigeria.

I am really looking forward to your talk. Although everybody at the department seems to have thought it would be “Exploring America through Yoruba Eyes.”

I’m sure it will be lots of fun.

Are you one of those speakers who welcome questions or the opposite? I’m asking because I LOVE asking questions during talks. People have been known to bribe me to prevent me from asking questions. (This is not a hint, or anything.)
